What we do

From an open field to a power plant, and every year after

We stay with a project for its whole life. The team that selects the site also engineers it, builds it and operates it, so the decisions made early hold up for the next 30 years.

Surveyors measuring a greenfield site

Develop

We find sites with a strong resource and a clear path to the grid, then do the careful early work that makes a project bankable.

Technicians working on a wind turbine during construction

Construct

Bottom-up engineering and experienced project management keep costs predictable and schedules on track.

Engineers monitoring equipment in a control room

Operate

Once a project is running, we manage it for performance and reliability for the life of the asset.

Core technology

Utility-scale solar

High-efficiency bifacial modules on single-axis trackers that follow the sun, designed for each site’s resource and grid conditions.

Three decades of heritage

Onshore wind

Backed by our sponsor family’s long record in wind energy, from resource assessment to turbine technology and lifetime service.

Firming and flexibility

Battery storage

Co-located battery storage where the grid needs it, shifting solar and wind output into the hours when power is most valuable.

About us

A new developer with a long history in renewable energy

Synergen Renewable Energy is a Houston-based developer of utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage projects. We were founded in 2024 to build a portfolio of high-quality projects in Texas, where abundant resources, high-growth power demand and a competitive power market make clean energy some of the lowest-cost power available.

Our team of specialists in renewable energy, green fuels and technology works from offices in the U.S. and India. We combine the focus of a young company with the experience of a group that has spent decades designing, building and servicing renewable energy projects around the world.

Why choose Synergen

Responsible land stewardship

We design each project around the land it sits on, with minimal grading, native ground cover, and planned sheep grazing that keep the site productive for decades.

Engineering-led development

Every project is built from a bottom-up engineering model and checked by independent third parties, so cost and schedule estimates hold.

Grid-aware siting

We model grid conditions, nodal pricing and curtailment risk across ERCOT before we commit to a site, and spread projects across distinct grid zones.

Long-term partner

We plan to own and operate what we build. That means relationships with landowners, communities and customers that last for decades.

Our sponsor

Synergen is backed by the Tanti family, founders of Suzlon Energy and pioneers of the wind industry for three decades. Their experience across engineering, manufacturing, construction and long-term operations stands behind every project we develop.

Our sister company, Synergen Green Energy, is developing green hydrogen and ammonia production.

Who we work with

Landowners

Long-term lease agreements that provide steady income while the land stays in productive use.

Energy buyers

Long-term power purchase agreements for utilities, corporate and industrial buyers seeking reliable, low-cost clean power.

Investors & lenders

A de-risked, engineering-led pipeline across solar, wind and storage in one of the world’s most liquid power markets.

Communities

Local jobs, local contractors and new tax revenue in the counties where we build.

Our projects

A ~2.6 GW portfolio across Texas

Our projects are spread across distinct ERCOT zones to capture different solar and wind resource profiles and to make use of established transmission. Each one is designed for its local resource and grid conditions.

Sustainability

Clean power on land that keeps working

A solar project can share its land with agriculture and habitat. We plan our sites so they produce clean energy while supporting the land, wildlife and people around them.

Planned: sheep grazing

We plan to bring sheep onto our solar sites to manage vegetation between and under the panels. Grazing keeps the land in agricultural use, reduces mowing, and supports local ranchers.

Environment

Native and pollinator habitat

Native grasses and pollinator-friendly plants under and around the panels support bees, birds and healthy soil.

Soil and water protection

Minimal grading, erosion control and year-round ground cover protect topsoil and local waterways.

Wildlife and habitat studies

Environmental studies come before siting, so we can avoid sensitive habitat and design around it.

Community

Landowner income

Long-term lease payments give landowners a stable, predictable source of income for decades.

Local jobs and contractors

Construction and operations create local jobs, and we look first to local businesses for services and supplies.

Local tax revenue

Our projects add to the local tax base, helping to fund counties, school districts and public services.
